Best releases of the coming week in a row

The Nike Space Hippie 03, unveiled in February alongside The Swoosh's plans for the (now delayed) Tokyo Olympics, is the brand's next big sustainability bet. And while the silhouette looks straight from the future, it will launch on June 11. One of the tallest of the four inaugural Space Hippie models, the 03 features enhanced functionality omitted from its counterparts. Hence, it is apparently most limited due to the scarcity of the outer FlyEase mechanism at the heel. The FastFit midfoot tensioning system - with a bold 'Laser Crimson'-esque shade and upcycled materials - further makes for easy on and off. The sock-like Space Waste Yarn upper is gray, but is equally suited to Nike's sustainability efforts as it uses approximately 85% polyester recycled from plastic bottles, clothing and scraps of yarn. Underfoot, the chambray-like Crater Foam sole unit - said to be appearing on the Waffle Racer early next year - delivers a stable ride and a unique aesthetic at the same time. Insoles are made from ZoomX scrap foam, a surplus from the groundbreaking NEXT% line.

For quite some time now, Jordan Brand has been putting a lot of thought into the women's market, with talents like Melody Ehsani and Aleali May conjuring up some much needed energy in the lineup. And as plagued by their summer preview, the general releases also take a more aggressive approach, releasing not only Air Jordan 11 Lows, but a tie-dye-covered Air Jordan 1 High as well. Packed with the DIY treatment, the upper is relatively full of bold colors; but instead of a varied wash of multiple shades, the design prefers something much simpler as it combines both light and dark cool tones. Adjacent, the swoosh, toe box and tongue are given a dark black, accentuating the white tones of the profile, midsole and sampler.

While the new generation of sneakerheads will covet both the collaboration between Dunk Low's Travis Scott and Ben & Jerry, the silhouette has long been an icon long before the sub-label SB was founded. From touring the country's top universities to hyper-local Co.JP releases, the Dunk has gone on to amass a remarkable number of colorways that have slowly made their way back into the conversation. Led by the colorful "Brazil", not long ago, the "Team Tones" package is preparing to release its second headliner: the bright and bold "University Red". Almost identical to the "St. Johns' scheme of years ago, the pair simply sways with a two-piece arrangement; the titular shading covers the leather paneling of the overlay, while white neutrals accent the bottom at the toe box, profile, ankle and the tongue.
